Black comedy by the world-famous British author Mark Ravenhill in the Slovak premiere!

A group of young artists has a dream to make it big. When one member of the artistic group achieves commercial success, the others secretly envy her and wonder about their own ambitions and talent. During a visit to her villa, their envy grows into hatred and the pretended joy of meeting together is cut short by tragedy. A plan begins to form in the artists' minds: could suffering be a work of art?

pool (without water) is a shocking comedy about the ways in which our desires for professional fulfillment, creative identity and (in)humanity intersect and conflict. It deals with the themes of friendship, success and envy. It raises questions: What does it mean to make art? What are we willing to sacrifice in order to fulfill our ambitions?
